Moth Embroidered Doll Kit by Kiriki Press

Embroider a flat panel, then sew and stuff it into a small moth. The finished doll stands about 4.5 inches, or 11 cm.

Kiriki rate this Level 3. It uses a wide variety of stitches and they cover most of the pattern surface, so it is a longer sit than the level number alone suggests. Kiriki call it good for adventurous beginners as well as seasoned stitchers, which is fair, it is more time than difficulty.

The pattern is screen printed by hand onto the cotton with water-based inks, so there is no tracing or transferring. You stitch straight onto the printed lines.
